Main Construction Content of the Project:

This project mainly includes the construction of seawall strengthening and upgrading, river channel works, sluice gate works, road and bridge works, etc.

The project involves:

• Strengthening and upgrading of the seawall for 6.98 kilometers.

• New construction of a 6.8-kilometer river channel.

• New construction of the Dajiaoguo Mountain sluice station.

• Construction of an ultra-standard flood control road 7.2 kilometers inside the seawall.

• Construction of 3 new bridges.

The engineering classification is level II. The main structures, including the seawall and sluice gates, are classified as level I hydraulic engineering structures. The secondary structures are classified as level III, and the riverbank protection structures are classified as level IV. Temporary structures are also classified as level IV.

Seawall Strengthening Details:
The total length of the seawall strengthening is 6,980.4 meters, divided into five sections:

• Pao Tai Mountain Seawall: From Jintang Island’s Pao Da Rock to Xiao Dajiaoguo Mountain, with a length of 2,172.60 meters.

• Xiao Dajiaoguo Mountain Seawall: From Xiao Dajiaoguo Mountain directly to Yulong Mountain, with a length of 141.8 meters.

• Dapeng Mountain Seawall: From the northern part of Dapeng Mountain to Dajiaoguo Mountain, with a length of 2,226 meters.

• Dajiaoguo Mountain Seawall: From Dajiaoguo Mountain to Ganchi Mountain, with a curved design, and a length of 1,951 meters.

• Ganchi Mountain Seawall: From Ganchi Mountain to Dapeng Mountain, with an outward convex curve, and a length of 489 meters.

Precast Concrete Block Installation:
In line with the actual situation of the project area, the plan is to pre-cast and install more than 6,800 concrete Chinese Accropode blocks, each weighing 12 tons, along the Dajiaoguo Mountain seawall. The total volume is approximately 35,000 cubic meters. The concrete grade is C30. The blocks will be placed in a regular pattern near the seawall end and in an irregular pattern at the far end of the seawall.

Project Duration:
The total construction period will be 1 year.
