Project Overview
The project is located at Bailanggu, Banping Island, with a sloping breakwater of 1200 meters. The breakwater is set up to resist typhoon of grade 12 and wind waves once in 50 years. After completion of the project, it can effectively cover the south and southwest wind waves in typhoon season and improve the berthing stability conditions in the port area. The sloping breakwater is 1200 meters long and covers an area of 3.9 square kilometers. It adopts the sloping structure of accropode for surface protection, and the soft foundation treatment adopts the blasting and silt-squeezing scheme. The core riprap is 1.89 million square meters, and the 6t accropode is 15,012 pieces. The inner slope used dry blockwork, and the top of the embankment used reinforced concrete wave walls and concrete pavement.
